# Understanding How to set Offers in ReferRush

### Overview

ReferRush enables brands to turn every customer into a marketer using a referral engine built natively for WhatsApp and D2C growth. This document is designed to help your team configure and implement referral campaigns end-to-end, including:

* How referral offers work for new and existing customers
* Reward types & safety logic
* WhatsApp template guidelines and examples

  Let’s break down a standard referral flow using an example:

  Customer A (Rohan) places an order from your Shopify store. He gets a referral code & \[link] . He shares this code with his friend Customer B (Vikram). Vikram places an order using Rohan’s referral link.
