How Referral Offers Work

Let’s break down a standard referral flow using an example:

Customer A (Rohan) places an order from your Shopify store. He gets a referral code & [link] . He shares this code with his friend Customer B (Vikram). Vikram places an order using Rohan’s referral link.

Offer to Referred Friend (Vikram)

  • A discount code
  • Customizable rules :
    • Discount type : Percentage or Fixed
    • Discount Value : eg. 15% or ₹200 off
    • Minimum cart value: e.g. valid only above ₹999

Reward to Referrer (Rohan)

  • UPI payout (cash) or a Shopify gift card
  • Customizable amount based on your campaign
  • Delivered after a “safety period” to avoid fraud
