The Notification Popup is required. Referral links only track visitors when it is turned on, so without it no referral sales are counted.

Set your offer and reward

The widgets show the offer and reward you set in Offer & Reward, so set those first.

Turn on the Notification Popup

This makes referral links work. Set it up.

Turn on the Signup Form

This lets any visitor join your program. Set it up.

Add the referral link to your Thank You page

This asks every customer to refer right after they buy. Set it up.
To check that the popup and signup form are on, open them in your ReferRush dashboard under Channels. Each page shows an ACTIVE badge once its embed is turned on in your live theme.
